What I Got for my Birthday (2020)

Hi everyone!

My birthday was back in April. I had a good time celebrating with family, even though it was in quarantine, and people bought me some great gifts. I thought it would be fun to show what I got in this post!

Just a disclaimer that I’m not trying to brag — I just enjoy seeing other people’s birthday hauls and I thought it would be fun to do one of my own. 🙂

First up are the things my mom got me . . .

First are these three candles. Two are from Village Candle, scented Cactus Blossoms and Serenity. The third one is from the brand Tried & True and it’s lily scented. I have been really into burning candles recently (I think it makes a room feel so cozy!) so my mom got me these.

Next, I got these blush pink Vans. I was sooo excited about these because I have been wanting a pair of Vans for a long time. I think the pink will go with a lot of stuff I have. I’m looking forward to wearing them this summer!

Next, I got these adorable floral flip-flops from Chatties. These will be really nice to wear to the beach!

These two books are technically from my aunt and uncle because I ordered them with a gift card to Amazon that they gave me. 😉 They are Sing a New Song: A Woman’s Guide to the Psalms by Lydia Brownback and Rhythms of Renewal by Rebekah Lyons. I have already read the latter book and didn’t like it much, sadly. I think Sing a New Song will be really interesting, though, and I’m excited to read it!

Last but not least, I received this cross/flower necklace from one of my lovely best friends. 🙂 I also got a couple other presents from friends that I didn’t get pictures of — a bag with the Philadelphia skyline on it and a poster one of them painted for me.

I got some great gifts this year and I’m really thankful to everyone who thought of me! They made my birthday special even though it was in quarantine. 🙂 ❤

That’s all for today’s post! Thank you for reading!

Lydia
